About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end product features across backend and frontend systems.
- Develop and optimise RESTful APIs using Python//Java or either of them.
- Build dynamic and responsive UI components using React.js or similar frameworks.
- Implement asynchronous services and queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc. ) to handle real-time data and background tasks.
- Integrate third-party services like map APIs, payment gateways, and notification systems (SMS, email, and push).
- Work with both SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases for scalable data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure seamless feature delivery.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure platform reliability.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and frontend performance optimisation.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Backend: Strong proficiency in Python/Java or any
- Frontend: Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React.js .
- Experience with HTML5 CSS3 and frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc. ).
- Deep understanding of REST API design and integration.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs (maps, payments, auth, notifications).
- Exposure to AWS services (EC2 RDS, S3 Lambda) and DevOps workflows.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of security principles, data privacy, and authentication (OAuth2 JWT).
- Strong debugging and performance tuning abilities across the stack.
