About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend components.
- Build and enhance web applications and APIs.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot issues in development and production with guidance.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Contribute to improving performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support development of AI-enabled features or integrations (e. g., automation, assistive workflows).
Requirements:
- BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of full-stack software development experience.
Backend:
- Proficiency in Java (or a similar backend language).
- Experience building or contributing to REST APIs.
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL; exposure to NoSQL is a plus).
Frontend:
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of API integration and responsive UI development.
General:
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic testing and debugging practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Basic familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e. g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
- Awareness of how AI/LLMs are used in applications (APIs, simple workflows, automation).
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker or cloud environments.
- Basic understanding of state management (Redux, etc. ).
- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools.
- Awareness of workflow or automation systems.
- Exposure to LLM-based features, such as chat or summarization use cases, prompt-based workflows, and API-based AI integrations.
