About the role
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Database (12c or later) or Transactional SQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimisation.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling principles.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages.
- Familiarity with database performance tuning tools and techniques.
- Experience developing scalable, high-concurrency RESTful APIs and web services using C# and the. NET Core framework
- Familiarity with React for developing modern, responsive front-end user interfaces.
- Experience with the AWS cloud platform.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub repositories for version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ideal candidate:
- A graduate/postgraduate in computer science/technology or equivalent, with relevant technical skills.
- 4 - 6 years of work experience. Net and React, with Oracle PL/SQL or T-SQL development.
- Technology certifications are a plus.
- Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work individually or within a team environment.
- Ability to participate in multiple projects, tasks and priorities in a healthy work environment.
- Has attention to detail and a penchant for quality.
- Proficient in documentation as well as process and workflow design.
- Command of version control methodologies, preferably with GIT/Bitbucket or equivalent.
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism and work to specified deadlines.
- Adhere to the processes and procedures defined for the role, the team and the organisation.
