About the role
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Next, Node.js)
- Build reusable, responsive, and user-friendly UI components using React.js
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs
- Design and manage MongoDB databases and schemas
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and product managers
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Ensure application security and data protection standards
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with React.js, Redux/Context API
- Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose
- Good understanding of REST APIs and API integration
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms like JWT/OAuth
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
