About the role
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and applications
• Work with SQL databases for efficient data management and processing
• Leverage GCP for application deployment, scaling, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and system design principles
• Participate in and drive code reviews to maintain code quality
• Support development of ETL processes and data pipelines where required
Key Skills & Qualifications
• Strong programming skills in at least one: Java, C++, or Python
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience in leading teams and driving technical initiatives
• Strong understanding of backend system design and development
• Experience delivering production-grade applications
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines (good to have)
• Experience with version control systems and code review practices
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
