Accountability Supporting Actions Carry out timely and accurate Equity Settlement for accounting Equity Settlement on STP including custody and broker confirmation Co-ordination with Equity Brokers and Dealers and Custody for trade settlement Calculation of Margin payable Provision of equity related cash flows in the cash flow projections Support the Accounting and Valuation of Equity Portfolio across funds for NAV release Creation of Equity and Broker Master Timely and accurate accounting of Equity Trades MTM valuation of Equity Portfolio across fund groups Tracking and accounting of Corporate Action Undertake Daily checking of Debt Valuation and Accounting for ensuring accuracy of NAV’s released Checking of Debt Valuation across all funds Checking of Debt Accounting across all funds Preparation of MIS for Management review, financial reporting and Audit Data Preparation of Financial Reports as per IRDA, Schedule VI & IFRS. Preparation of daily, monthly, yearly MIS Preparation of To-be-Revived Policies reconciliation Adhoc investment MIS as and when required by IRDA, Actuary, Front-Office, Taxation, Planning and Management. Co-ordination with statutory, Internal & Concurrent auditors Timely and accurate vendor payment Project support Facilitating in testing and implementation. Ensure timely & accurate submission of cash flow for optimum utilisation of funds. Validate correct accounting and reporting of unit capital on daily basis in cash flow in coordination with client service team. Monitor timely coordination with custodian & banker for trade settlements, margin payouts, and corporate receipts on daily basis. Monitor timely coordination with accounts for transfers of funds towards creation/redemption of units, expense, policy loan, payments and capital contribution. Ensure daily reconciliation and timely provision of audit data Monitor daily bank & holding reconciliations Monitor daily unit capital & units reconciliation & reconcile breaks in coordination with client services & business analyst’s team. Ensure reconciliation of policy loan & prepayment account & reconcile the breaks with accounts team. Monitor margining & collateral requirement for SLR trades Monitor timely and accurate submission of MIS and audit related requirements. Ensure timely support as back-up for Investment Accounting & NAV computation activities To provide appropriate back-up support for Investment accounting and NAV declaration. To update self on the various regulatory changes and its impact on the complete function and the organization Monitor Banking Operations to support collections & payment across channels Monitor seamless Banking/CMS support PAN India for collections & payments Monitor prompt query resolution regarding CMS arrangements in coordination with the branches and Banks Monitor banks SLA’s and coordinate for seamless support across multiple bank channels Ensure timely set-up of CMS arrangements for new branch locations. Manage operational relationship with Banks for banking arrangements across multiple channels Support new banking initiatives to support collections, payments & MIS related dynamism Monitor Treasury Operations Monitor timely transfers of daily funding requests for payouts across verticals Monitor collections across 10+ collection accounts and ensures timely transfers for investments & maintains appropriate bank balances. Coordinate & support reconciliation, investment & payments team for banking related escalations Coordinate with banks for Fixed Deposit placements. Monitor timely & accurate accounting of transfer & interest entries in Financial accounting system. Monitor timely audit support and submissions with regards to balance & FDR confirmation across banks. To ensure process enhancements & project related support Continuously drive towards automation of the daily processes with appropriate checks & control To ensure timely support on all UMR related projects Team Management Set team KRA’s & monitor performance Guide the team members in performing their tasks Facilitate training and development programmes for enrichment of skills & knowledge for the team
