Job Title: Technical Project Manager - Application Development
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong background in Application Development, Agile Delivery, and Software Engineering Program Management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing the end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications, coordinating cross-functional teams comprising Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
The role requires a techno-functional leader who can drive software development programs from requirements through production deployment, while ensuring predictable delivery, quality, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of application development projects across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through deployment and production stabilization.
Manage multiple Agile teams delivering web, mobile, API, cloud, and data platform solutions.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Architects, and Engineering Leads to define delivery roadmaps and execution plans.
Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, release planning, and program increment planning activities.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software by monitoring project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization.
Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making across architecture, development, testing, and DevOps teams.
Oversee application releases, deployment readiness, environment management, and post-production support activities.
Track and report project health, delivery metrics, sprint performance, capacity utilization, and release status to leadership teams.
Manage inter-team dependencies across UI, API, Data Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on Agile maturity, engineering excellence, automation, and delivery efficiency.
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, risk, and governance standards.
Support stakeholder communication and executive reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
10+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience managing application development projects.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile product delivery methodologies.
Proven experience leading large-scale application development programs and distributed engineering teams.
Experience working with Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean practices.
Experience managing project risks, dependencies, release planning, and stakeholder communications.
Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience delivering enterprise-grade applications in cloud or hybrid environments.

PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Relevant project management and Agile certifications.
Demonstrated success delivering complex software development programs in enterprise environments.
