Senior Project Manager (7+ years)

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (Onsite / Hybrid / Remote as per company policy)

7+ years in project management, preferably in IT / Software / Digital / Infrastructure domain

You will lead project delivery from initiation through closure. Your role includes planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and quality. You’ll coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholders, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with business goals. You may also mentor other PMs or lead a portfolio of projects.

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, success criteria, in collaboration with stakeholders
• Create detailed project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), milestone tracking
• Manage budgets, resources, timelines, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule and quality targets
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams: developers, testers, operations, design, QA, support, etc.
• Identify risks / dependencies, implement risk mitigation plans, escalate issues where needed
• Ensure change control processes are followed; manage scope creep
• Monitor project performance via appropriate tools & metrics (KPIs, milestones, budget burn, etc.)
• Ensure proper documentation: status reports, meeting minutes, lessons learned, etc.
• Stakeholder management: gather requirements, align expectations, communicate progress, negotiate trade‑offs
• Manage vendor/third‑party relationships if relevant—contracts, deliverables, dependencies
• Drive process improvements, best practices, ensure standards in project management (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)
• Mentor / coach junior project managers or lead smaller projects / work streams

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Business / related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of project management experience in IT / Software development / Digital / Infrastructure projects
• Strong experience with project management methodologies: Agile (Scrum / Kanban), Waterfall, Hybrid
• Proven track record of delivering medium to large projects (size, complexity) on time, within budget, meeting quality goals
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Experience with project management tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello / Asana / Monday, etc.
• Strong risk management, dependency management, issue resolution skills
• Budget planning, resource allocation, vendor management skills
• Leadership skills: able to lead teams, motivate, influence without direct authority
• Excellent organizational, planning, multitasking skills

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master / Agile certification
• Experience working in large distributed teams or across geographic locations
• Experience in specific domain relevant to your organisation (e.g. FinTech, Healthcare, Cloud, eCommerce)
• Exposure to digital transformation / modern ways of working
• Stakeholder experience at senior levels: interacting with leadership / C‑suite
