About the role
The Sales Executive sells the company's gift boxes and home decor products in bulk to corporates, housing societies, wedding planners, event agencies, and institutions in Delhi NCR. The role is outbound first: identify prospects, cold call, email, visit offices with samples, present the catalogue, quote, close, and collect. Each executive carries a monthly revenue target and keeps a live pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: build and work a target list of companies (HR, administration, procurement, marketing), housing societies, wedding planners, venues, and event agencies in an assigned territory of NCR.
- Pitching: present the product range, customization options (branding, inserts, box contents), and price tiers; arrange samples and mock-ups with the design team.
- Quoting and closing: prepare quotations from the price list, negotiate within approved limits, collect advance, and confirm order details and delivery date with operations.
- Account management: collect balance payments on time; re-contact every account before each gifting occasion (New Year, Holi, Rakhi, Diwali, wedding season, employee milestones).
- Inbound: respond to assigned IndiaMART, website, and WhatsApp leads within 2 hours during working time.
- Pipeline: update the sales tracker daily (lead, stage, value, next action, expected close); submit a weekly pipeline review.
- Market feedback: report competitor pricing, client requests, and product gaps to the product team.
