About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile applications (frontend and backend).
- Conduct mobile app testing on Android and iOS platforms
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to building effective test strategies and plans.
- Conduct API testing using Playwright integrations
- Analyze test failures, debug issues, and provide clear and detailed defect reports.
- Contribute to establishing QA best practices and maintaining high testing standards within CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of software QA principles, methodologies, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript for automation testing.
- Practical experience in mobile app testing (manual and/or automated).
- Good knowledge of frontend testing (UI validation, browser compatibility) and backend testing (API validation, data consistency).
- Proficiency in writing test cases, test documentation, and bug reports.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and tools such as Postman or similar.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
