About the role
4G/5G Core Network Test Engineer4G/5G Core Testing, MME, GW, AMF, SMF, UPF, Robot Framework, Python, Linux, 3GPP Call Flow Validation
Responsibilities:
- Perform 4G/5G Core Network testing for telecom products and solutions.
- Test and validate 4G Core components such as MME, SGW, and PGW.
- Test and validate 5G Core network functions such as AMF, SMF, and UPF.
- Validate 3GPP call flows and signalling procedures.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute test automation scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
- Use Linux for test execution, log analysis, troubleshooting, and environment setup.
- Analyse network traces, logs, and packet captures to identify issues.
- Troubleshoot failed test cases and identify whether the issue is related to the network function, configuration, environment, or test script.
- Raise, track, and validate defects/bugs with development teams.
- Work with development and network teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare test reports, execution results, and defect reports.
- Ensure the product meets relevant 3GPP specifications and requirements.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in 4G/5G Core Testing + MME/AMF/SMF/UPF + 3GPP Call Flows + Robot Framework/Python + Linux.
