Executive - Operations

Experience: 1–3 years | Function: Sort Center / Warehouse Operations

Role OverviewSupport day-to-day sort center operations by ensuring timely shipment movement, process adherence, productivity, quality, and smooth coordination across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support inbound, outbound, sortation, staging, and dispatch operations as per defined SLAs.
• Monitor shipment flow and ensure timely processing and handovers.
• Coordinate with transportation and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Assist in manpower allocation, shift activities, and daily briefings.
• Track operational KPIs, productivity, TAT, and SLA adherence and highlight gaps.
• Support implementation of SOPs, 5S, Lean, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Conduct basic checks/audits and support RCA and corrective actions for operational defects.
• Coordinate with HR, Customer Service, Inventory, Transportation, and vendor teams.
• Handle day-to-day operational escalations and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare daily/weekly MIS, operational reports, and incident reports.
• Support management with accurate operational updates and data.

Preferred Experience

• Comfortable working in rotational shifts and a fast-paced operational environment.
