About the role
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs
- Use various channels to source potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking events
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Facilitate the offer process and negotiate compensation packages
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate activity and maintain accurate data
- Conduct reference and background checks on potential employees
- Collaborate with the HR team to improve recruitment processes and policies
- Prepare regular recruitment reports and metrics for management review
- Stay updated on labor legislation and regulations related to recruitment and hiring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
- Demonstrated proficiency in using recruitment tools and social media for sourcing
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Experience in conducting interviews and assessing candidate qualifications
- Proven ability to negotiate and close offers
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other HR software
- Certification in Human Resources or Recruitment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
