Niyo was founded in 2015 to change how Indians approach their cross border payments & travel, whatever theirjob, income or comfort with technology. We focus on finding the banking problems customers face and buildingproducts that fix them. Niyo started as a startup and is now an established digital fintech player serving over 4million customers.
We have grown our forex business by acquiring Kanji Forex and RemitX (Capital India’s forex business). The forexbusiness is led by veteran banker Amit Talwar, CEO – Forex.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Travel Expert, you’ll help Niyo customers plan and book their trips across flights, hotels, airport transfers,holiday packages, forex, EU Rail, the Swiss Travel Pass and more. You’ll own each customer end to end, fromunderstanding the requirement, through to booking and post-travel support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
■ Understand the brief by speaking with customers over calls and WhatsApp about destinations, dates, budgetand preferences■ Drive sales by making outbound calls to leads and following up to convert enquiries into bookings■ Plan and quote itineraries across flights, hotels, airport transfers, holiday packages, EU Rail and the SwissTravel Pass■ Cross-sell Niyo Forex and other travel add-ons that fit the customer’s trip■ Book and confirm every part of the trip and share all travel documents with the customer■ Support before, during and after travel, handling changes, cancellations and issues until each one is closed
MUST HAVE
■ 2+ years in travel sales; holiday package salesexperience is a strong plus■ Comfort making outbound sales calls, not just handlinginbound queries■ Fluent English and Hindi, spoken and written■ Strong WhatsApp chat sales: clear, quick, persuasivereplies across several conversations at once■ Knowledge of international travel, especially SoutheastAsia, the Middle East and Europe
GOOD TO HAVE
■ Hands-on experience quoting andbooking on B2B travel portals■ Knowledge of travel documentation forpopular international destinations■ Experience at a travel management orsales role.
